This Privacy Policy explains how Smoke Signal Co. ("Smoke Signal," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our website (smokesignalco.com) and our lead-capture service for chimney and fireplace companies (the "Service").

From chimney business owners and prospects. When you request a free website report or contact us, we collect the information you provide, typically your business name, website address, email address, and phone number.
From homeowners contacting our clients. Our Service manages calls and text messages to the phone numbers of the chimney companies we work with. When a homeowner calls, texts, or otherwise contacts one of our clients through that number, we process that contact information (such as phone number and message content) as needed to deliver missed-call text-backs, two-way texting, automatic follow-up, and review requests on our client's behalf.
Automatically. Like most websites, we and our providers may collect limited technical data (such as IP address and device/browser information) from visitors to our own website.
How we use information
- To generate and deliver your free lead report;
- To deliver missed-call text-backs, two-way texting, automatic follow-up, and review requests to homeowners contacting our clients;
- To notify the relevant chimney company of a new lead, so they can follow up;

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Service:
- With the chimney company whose website generated a lead. Sharing a homeowner's contact request with that business is the purpose of the Service.

- When required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Email and your choices
Every marketing or follow-up email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at the address below, and we will honor applicable rights under laws such as the CCPA and GDPR where they apply to you.
